I lived in northern Wisconsin for 5 years and noticed that if you were not a government worker or farmer/dairyman/rancher (?) you were sh$t out of luck trying to make a living. The disparity between the government/public employees and "everyone else" working in the private market in Wisconsin is APPALLING in much of the state. My mom and dad still live up there in Wisconsin and the property tax increases of the last 10-12 years are KILLING them. They need to pay more and more taxes like they "need a hole in the head". I'm for workers rights (especially in the private sector but NOT SO MUCH IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR)... ... BUT THE TAXPAYER NEEDS TO HAVE RIGHTS TOO!!!
