BREAKING..Moto's Android Tablet Hits Best Buy This Thursday ismashphone.com Best Buy just added a page to their website advertising the Motorola Xoom tablet, which will be available in-store this Thursday (February 24) for US$799.99 plus a Verizon 3G (upgradable to LTE) data plan. Just planning to use Wi-Fi? According to the page, "1 month data activation [is] required" for that. Hmm... The Xoom comes with Android 3.0 (a/k/a Honeycomb), which -- unlike the Samsung Galaxy -- is optimized for larger screens, as well as front- and rear-facing cameras, Flash Player compatibility, and a small collection of peripherals (mostly docks and external keyboards). You can read more about the Xoom's features here. Let's also hope that, unlike the Galaxy, Moto sells more Xooms AND gets fewer returns.
