Not much different than living in a hotel. The Fairmont in SF wants to demolish and rebuild its Tower to turn it into luxury condos to sell then use the funds to upgrade the hotel and condos to 5-star service. abclocal.go.com I think the close quarters of a ship would drive me nuts, but I've never been on a cruise so I can't say for sure...
