I threw out about 300 of those floppies over the past 6 months. Put them on ZIP disks, I have 15 Zip disks right now and going to buy a box of the colored ones soon. I use 3 ZIP drives, one for my desktop (SCSI) one for my notebook at work, and one for my notebook when I bring it home. VERY VERY VERY rare I mean VERY RARE that I will ever use a 1.44 floppy anymore. I know where you are coming from, but in my opinion the 1.44 is obsolete, and I don't want to use it anymore.
