I sold my INTC today, at $21.85.

I think ARM will leech sales from x86 as mobile computing heats up. I had held some AMD since they had recently beaten INTC in benchmarks, but sold the AMD at a litte over break-even when they fired their CEO, and I'd been looking for a reason to sell my INTC from my 401K brokerage account as well.

Today's positive news RE AAPL gave the stock a nice little spike, so I'm out. INTC has paid decent dividends and has appreciated 2% since for me since '06, but I'm seeing nowhere but down at this point.

Seriously, is anyone building smartphones around Medfield? With NOK moving from Medfield to WP7, Meego has turned out to be one big waste of money.

Thats my two cents, but Intel could always prove me wrong. Intel has always been a great technological leader, and I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled a rabbit out of the hat.

Might change my mind when I see a decent Atom tablet, and some real market interest in it.
