"Addiction to oil" is a stupid left-wing slogan to make people feel guilty about wasting gas or not taking mass transit.

Oh.....you poooooooooor thing. What are those dang liberals doing to your head? They should be shot.....isn't that what your Gov. Hosni Walker is saying......kill the bastards......or was that the words of your AG in Indiana? I forget.

So if its not an addiction, what would you call it? A diversion? An avocation? A hobby? You tell me and I will try to remember to use your words.

Advocating higher gas taxes is a perfect example of ivory tower thinking. As a liberal, he ought to be worried about how such a tax will impact the poor more than the rich. But I'm sure that can be solved by more wealth redistribution.

And in the meantime, whatever recovery we have from the recession will be crushed.

Raise the damn taxes on gas! They should have been raised decades ago! You're a fool if you believe otherwise.
