-1, Telos Can Compete for Air Employee Security Work, TSA Says 2011-02-25 19:08:18.975 GMT By John Hughes Feb. 25 (Bloomberg) -- L-1 Identity Solutions Inc. and Telos Corp. may compete for airport and airline employee threat- check work that previously went exclusively to an airport trade group, the Transportation Security Administration said. The companies may compete for the work to collect and submit information needed for TSA to do background checks, the security agency said today in a statement. The American Association of Airport Executives, which can compete with the companies for the work, has done the data collection for TSA since 2003.
