What we have here is a little argument about who has the consumer's best interests at heart.

Pretty much no one. Corporations have corporation's best interests at heart. Sometimes that coincides with consumer interest at which time the trumpets come out.

Probably Serge and Larry meant it when they said no evil and Jobs really did want to change the world but when it comes down to dollars corporations have no morals. Corporations are fictional humans with one goal only.

So it's a MOOT POINT which company is the more moral. The only things that matter in capitalism are strategy and execution.
