While we were there, an old diesel engine with over 1,000,000 hours, and filled with biofuel was started up. Again the engine ran much cooler than a regular engine. I've rented heavy equipment many times, and I have to tell you, that engine ran very smooth and quiet, with a nice steady rhythm. I actually put my hand on the exhaust manifold after it had been running for 20 minutes or so. It was quite warm but not hot. You do that to a regular running engine, and your skin will melt....lol. The ramifications of this are tremendous. Engine wear will be drastically reduced. Oil changes can be done much less frequently, etc etc... siliconinvestor.com
