I'm in for a measley 100...and a couple of thoughts for you guys to consider. I'm a PR guy (retired)...this is a superb idea you're toying with, but maybe a little beforehand strategy might be of use. Suppose you gather your flock, arrange your appointment, set some ground rules, maybe set up a question or two in advance with more to come, (from which you get a positive, open, responsive impression), and then contact the media to announce that: A private shareholder group will be meeting with Cymer management next week to discuss a number of issues relevant to the heavily oversold positions the group believes to be tarnishing the image of the Company. Collect a few e-mail addresses of prominent tech reporters, perhaps a few web editors, of course CNBC, you get the idea. If you guys want to scatter those shorters to the high weeds, you gotta fight back.
Then, report what you hear to the same group. |
