The only value of a 7 inch tablet is reduced weight and that's not enough to compensate for a vastly inferior operational and visual experience. Of all the enhanced tablet features that may come from iPad 2 the most significant will be weight reduction. If Apple substantially reduces weight, say in the neighborhood of a 1 lb on a full size device, the Android OEMs will have to scurry back to the drawing board. Anybody who has used an iPad knows weight reduction is the killer improvement.
