repost from IV board.. "...Today’s Conference Call My quick notes on today’s conference call: • Hope to have first 2.5 drug candidate this year (5-10x more potent than 2.0). Makes oral bioavailability feasible. • Regulus ownership dropped to 46% as a result of equity investment by Sanofi • Increase in revenue of $10M expected this year (includes first Mipo milestone) • On track for Mipomersen EU filing 1H2011. Very confident on this (SC). • Good discussion on categorization of HoFH and severe HeFH patients by SC. Main difference between two groups is their age. Emphasized clinical diagnosis is not genetically based. • Compared Mipo results/profile with Aegerion’s MTP Inhibitor and stated there really is no comparison or other near-term competition. • Detailed data from final two PIII Mipo trials to be presented at the ACC (early April). Panel discussion will also be conducted/webcast. • Pipeline update scheduled for April • First Mipo milestone is for acceptance of initial US filing by FDA (usually 30-60 days after submission). Second milestone is US approval. • QA: Any indication Sanofi is concerned with Mipo? SC – No. Quite the contrary. • About 733 patients treated to date with Mipo and placebo controlled • Antisense injection site reactions do not have association with CRP (something ISIS previously contemplated) Additionally, a reminder to all that ISIS is presenting at the Citi Global Health Care Conference tomorrow at 11am ET.
