Leman,

<Is there a good chance SIII will be taken over now?>

Who knows.

Is S3 a lot more attractive now? You bet. Where can you buy
an immediate presence in the market (largest market share),
infrastructure, human/research resources, product, and so on, and
buy it at essentially BOOK VALUE. NO PREMIUM AT ALL TO PAY!!

Plus you get the fab at investment value.

How more attractive can it get!

Just imagine, building an organization the size of S3 from scratch
and gaining the market presence S3 has. How much time will it take
to get to that level in all the phases of that business and how much
will you have paid already before you are finally at par?

Besides, if you want to be in the 3D business how much easier is it to
buy presence rather than grow and develop it yourself?

The problem is not with S3, the company, but with those at the steering wheel,
and that is easiest to resolve than those currently in charge think.

The time has come for them to become part of the solution rather than remain
part of the problem. If they don't start addressing this others will do
it for them.

If you believe, like I do, that S3 will survive, then today, S3 is quite
an attractive eternal option at $6 and change. Check your leaps and you won't
find many more attractive ones.

JMHO
