Everyone's facts and figures on Zitel/Matridigm were wrong. LOL. I won't go into it.
Doc, today's announcement is nothing but good. (BTW, AnswerThink never endorsed Zitel, they endorsed MatriDigm. I still believe MD's technology holds great promise for COBOL code remediation, but that is not our concern here.)
True, announcements like today's don't do jack sh*t for y2k stock prices anymore. It's a year later, and in the y2k world, that's a century later. Y2k as a sector is in the toilet, and investors at this momnet want to see $$$ in front of their greedy little faces. Good--that makes for a highly inefficient market. I've got a bundle in this thing already, but now I can relax, listen to the conference call, and decide if I want to put in some more moolah into this baby without worrying about the price getting away from me.
The main point is that AT looks like a very smart bunch of people, and it is very clear what they are trying to do: Create THE SOURCE for one-stop y2k shopping. We don't know if they'll succeed (it's getting late), but there is no reason for them to choose TPRO unless they feel it is "best of breed". Of course, it helps to be essentially the only member of the breed, but it should be clear that this highly qualified group of people would not have gone with TPRO unless they felt absolute confidence in TPRO's approach. Their reps and egos are on the line, and it's a big bunch of reps and egos involved.
