HIX ( Western Asset High Income Fund ) presently paying 10.4% ( .085 ) monthly. Return has been going slowly down over the years.

Currently my only monthly payer.

Have had it for years ( IRA and KEOGH ) except for the Flash Crash ... lost about 10% by stop loss followed by repurchase. Traded slightly off low of day but executed after hours after triggering mid afternoon. How does a market order placed at about 2:30 turn into an after hours ( 5:30 ) execution? Many thousands of other shares traded in those hours, but not mine. No joy from talking with Fidelity.
