Even nuclear option limited, as the only way to effectively deploy nuclear weapons requires missiles or aircraft to deliver. That's why nasty little countries specialize in terrorism. Waste a few young lives on all sides. Destroy a building or a few buildings. Then what?

Which is why it is so disgusting to be a member of a society with all of these tools and a demonstrated willingness to use them against innocent civilians, often for no reason other than to gain domestic political advantage, (right Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld et al)

To live in a country that employs the death penalty on its own citizens, practices torture directly, or by proxy, refuses medical care to its citizens and channels the vast majority of its wealth to a fraction of its population, in the 21st century, no less, gives any thinking person pause.

But killing education in the US was an early objective, well achieved.
