Good question- I do not know. A lot of southern Sudanese have abandoned Islam and become Christians voluntarily as a show of defiance to the Central Government. Might have been the case here, as no missionaries are in the Sudan currently or have been for some time. Yet the Christian percentage of the population of the Sudan keeps growing- (Christians,Animists comprise 40% of the Sudan's ppulation base now) don't know why, but assume that it's war-related....

We agree on the markets. We'll float along sideways to down through mid-December I believe. here not much will happen in the Sudan until the flooding stops in this part of the world....
