Al, why are you ignoring this part of Brumar's post? It's discussed in the article I posted. It's very exaggerated and often repeated FUD. CFLs contain less than 4mg of mercury and in the case of breakage the EPA outlines a simple cleanup procedure. It's typical conservative nincompoopery... Unless of course "it's all about ideology ..." Whose ideology? Left to conservative policies their children would be breathing soot and drinking leaded water, but give them a bit of progressive agenda and they suddenly find concern for the environmental impact...what horseshit is that? Al
