Craig, add my 3600 shares to your tally.

Also, you may need to collect emails with our names, declared positions, and support for you to represent us for such a meeting. I'm not sure how formal it would have to be, but a brief form could be typed up and posted here for us to print out, fill in the blanks, and fax back to you with signatures -- then you can file them into a folder. This would go a long way to ensure you the credibility you need, and encourage Cymer to take your request seriously.

I haven't checked the CYMI board at the Fool yet, but I will drop by there in a few minutes and see if they know what is being proposed on this thread. If not, I will paste your previous posts on AOL's board and see if we can organize some support from all the shareholders over there...no reason why all individual shareholders can't join forces if we hope to be heard.

The ex-PR guy who posted earlier had some valid points. After you collect the support you need and receive over 1% representation (hopefully with signed faxes), it would indeed be prudent to notify as many members of the media as possible...I'm certain such a collective effort by the online investing communtiy would carry some reporting interest with the press. Especially San Diego's local tribune(?) that has reported on Cymer often in the past. A little publicity covering a meeting such as you propose would go a long way to pressure the company to allot you some time.

As for questions and points of discussion, I would encourage management to give the company more PR exposure. We need more announcements about developments at the company, no matter how small. Also, the company should be responsive and immediately correct any bogus press that hits the wires, such as the "firebombing" rumor a couple months ago, or Fleckenstein's comments that Cymer is a bulb manufacturer.

One last thing: you can tell Akins that I'm pissed about the share price!

Now, let's see what support those Motley Fools can muster...

Style Pts.
