Elroy, didn't anyone tell you? The game is rigged, always has been.

The brokerages will perhaps tell you that they keep the fee money, interest, etc., to help defray the transactional cost, thereby lowering your commish on trades.

What they don't tell you, would fill volumes.

PS, So sad that the brokerages don't get that cush 3% transaction fee they used to charge.
