MONCTON, N.B., Nov. 13 /CNW/ -

Major Drilling Group International Inc. (TSE - MDI) has been selected by Forbes Magazine as one of the 100 best small foreign companies. The selected companies must have shown a return of at least 11% on equity in the latest fiscal year as well as a solid pattern of sales and earnings growth. The analysis leading to the selections included companies from 32 countries.

Major is located in Moncton, New Brunswick and currently has drilling

Major also conducts environmental and geotechnical drilling in the United States, and manufactures drills and support equipment through Universal Drilling Systems (UDR), a subsidiary of Mining World Limited.
