I have 4000 shares but no interest in demanding a share buyback. I think that it is ridiculous to question management about their motives regarding shareholder value. I guarantee that the management of this company has far more interest in creating shareholder value than everyone on this thread combined. Am I happy with the way this stock has tanked (I bought in over the last two weeks between 23 and 26)? No. Am I happy with what is almost certain market maker manipulation? No. But half of the problems are due to overall weakness in semi cap equip makers. Just look at AMAT lately. If you are all going to screw around with high-tech stocks, then find a good company beaten down for no reason, back up the truck, and hang on tight. If you want something a little more stable, buy a diversified mutual fund. Want something safe? Put your money in the bank.
