Yes, my initial thought. But the unit for which it was intended (game player) - said it wasn't formatted. Then the USB (mSD reader) [two of them] and SD reader (slide into the SD mother) -- all just won't recognize it. Rebooted the PC as well and tested on my notebook.

All DOA.

Sometimes when I put back into the game player it may not be recognized. That is where wiggling helps.
