Any stock that goes up 4 1/4 in one day will appear overbought using stochastic, but it can become even more overbought. Charting is a useful tool to see where a stock has been, unfortunately it cannot tell you where it is going. Prices are ultimately driven by earnings, therefore, why would you want to short CPQ, a stock with record earnings?
