i figure,

- we, the few, have had a nice run from march 2009 by qe1 and qe2, after

- having been blessed with Q4 2008 + Q1 2009

- in some sense we benefited much from the loss of others

- even as we might be justified to think, in the game of last man standing, far better many must fall so that a few may rise, and if so, let us be amongst the few

- however, qe3, representing a continuation of benefiting by the few from the many, may not get tee-ed up unless and until the many get really and truly frightened

- remembering q4 2008, i note even for those of us who were then already out of the market, it was quite alarming, as the lights were going out in the office buildings, factories, transport hubs, and ... ouch, financial institutions, that which hold our balls, so that our hearts and minds had to follow

- so, best to err on side of chicken

- remembering that, if we know we are going to panic, best to panic first, and

- that fear is a survival trait, and panic is rational
