Verizon is saying that iPhone demand is driving a quarter that will be twice as good as last year's Q1.

Really? Care to provide an on the record, direct quote behind that statement? That seems both suspiciously unsourced and unanchored to iPhone sales, and all of this remarkably at the same time! What does that mean, in units sold, of the VZ iPhones?

Doesn't Apple usually brag about these sales?

Or in imprecise, generally descriptive terms, were the sales "smooth", very "smooth", or extra creamy "smooth"?
