Done. For whatever good it will do.

I really don't see anything in the interview that suggests that Novell is going to do anything substancially different from what they already know isn't working. Run a few ads in the WSJ, put up a few banners on the internet (that sure helped last quarter), talk to a few customers that will tell them what they want to hear, then go back to the office and put the old head back up where it was.

I think they should kick John out of the office for a week to do some cold calling. If he doesn't have a brief case full of orders from new customers and some new ideas on marketing when he gets back, they should fire him.
