Zeev, rumors I'm hearing is that almost everyone in Chatsworth got their walking papers...they have been given some time to find other jobs. The only folks sticking around may be the service folks who will be retained to service the existing tools out there. In other words...etch is history for TRKN.

I think even Greg is a short timer....why keep him to manage the remaining company after the disaster which he should take full responsibility (got too greedy). Why would he stay?? Even in the AMAT press release it was Dobson who made the comments...Gregg was not even mentioned.

So why even have Chasworth...it was the home of the etch business...but no more.

So that leaves Dobson and company(alot of whom were layed off in the last round). Dobson could careless about managing a company, all he wants to do is develop new technology...I think he is hell bent on low k and Cu forcefill.

I think Dobson wants to continue to develop technologies in Wales...so why not find a company that will buy the remainder of TRKN....for the MORI, the PVD and CVD (the latter two are proven technologies in production) and leave him in wales doing R&D. The MORI source would set the company up for .25u and below and 300mm.

The company that keeps coming to mind in LRCX. LRCX desperately needs CVD and PVD, 300mm and a Cu program...they would get it all by buying TRKN. I still think that if LRCX or AMAT had TRKNs technology...it would have been in wide spread use by today.

Just my thoughts.....
