Well, an ARM-processor Tablet might weigh 1.5 pounds while a Fusion-processor Mini Laptop might weigh 3.5 pounds. But the ARM-processor Tablets that I see don't plug in to a hotel broadband Ethernet connection but rely totally on WiFi and Cellular. So I recommend something that plugs in to a hotel Ethernet as well as having WiFi. Then I would have a simple mobile phone with USB that could connect the LapTop to mobile broadband.
