A few months ago, I was in Auckland, New Zealand... while I was there I visited the Auckland Maritime Museum where they hold all their sailing trophies, they have a big history of sailing and America's Cup competition... we also did some sailing in the bay, we sailed an old wooden sailboat built in 1840, it handled like a charm, the weather that day was perfect... while we were sailing, we saw several IOR (International Ocean Racing) sailboats in the bay going through their tacking maneuvers... Here are some pics I took with my phone of the boat we sailed in the bay and of some of their sailing trophies... GZ
