irby: Made a little money on day trades and shorts today, thanks for your lessons. Don't worry, I won't get over confident, too many years of humbling market lessons for that to happen <g>.

I have a fairly good "feel" for the price I want to enter my buy or sell at for regular trades long, and have pretty good success even at the bid or ask sometimes. I missed a couple of shorts today (I refuse to chase prices) trying to find a good entry $ in between the spread. I know its hard to generalize and different markets require different strategies, but how do you determine your entry price on shorts - ask, market, or in between?

No hurry on your answer, I realize tonight and tomorrow will be busy.

Alex
