fwiw, i have used bigcharts.com everyday for years and it was on the same day they tweaked their website interface that I had problems with QT , but was able to fix in a few hours after discovering the option for yahoo as historical backfill

i suspect it has to do w/ a change in the code on the back end at bigcharts.com versus anything that amtd did
