Hi John, I guess we can expect a stronger "outside influence" in forthcoming elections. We've had too much of it in recent years and it may be worse during the next round.

Much depends upon the editorializing that will take place on the TV sets across the state. We rather pointedly changed the composite of our state government representatives in the recent election. It was done for good reason after poor management of budgets and further erosion of the business climate in WI.

There are enough formerly employed non-government people who are beginning to see the truth. That weighs in favor for continuing reform rather than backlash. The Blame Game will continue, but peoples' ears will tune out more of the noise and concentrate more on the signal going forward. Empty blaming words don't pay the bills.

The Democrats who were committing Absentee Filibuster for the last three weeks are held in contempt by many of the state's residents. That they failed in their mission might well do more damage to their re-election efforts than good. It's hard to say.

Politics isn't an area of great knowledge for me, so I'm not sure my prognostication is of much value. Hope my ramblings help a bit.

Best regards, Tom
