Jules - As a long (14 years) investor in INTC, I tend not
to get too excuted over short term moves on the stock.
The only exception was last January when I bought more
at 57. My question are - Where are we headed? Who's
doing the buying?

My tentative guess is that there will be some consolidation
in the low 80's and then a resumed march towards the 90's this
winter followed by a split and dividend increase. I think the
buying is from mutual funds beginning to revalue the PE
closer to 20-25. With this years earnings at $4.65 we
will be looking at the possibility of $5.50 in Fiscal 97 and
6+ in Fiscal 98.

The only thing that is scaring me is that I am beginning to
get excited about Intel. I am normally very dispassionate
and analytical about stock. Am I wearing rose colored glasses
and building castles in the air? I value your advice because
you have your feet on the ground and reason your posts
carefully.
