Of all the companies who make digital products Apple is the one I trust the most.

Think about it. They don't even stop people from installing multiple copies of their OS on computers. I don't think they do it with the software either. It's the honor system with their customers.

I'd put this down to Jobs history as a Phone Phreak, who had ties with Captain Crunch and to his hippy history. He really does want to change the world. He knows the vast majority of his customers are honest. Yeah maybe some install systems on multiple computers but they would never have bought them if they couldn't and eventually they will buy stuff from Apple.

Sony and Microsoft on the other hand are horrible cooties, they are purely after money. Their goal is to squeeze their customers for every penny. And despite Google's proclamations to do no evil, somehow I don't trust them. They mean well but they don't have the same ethics as Jobs and his hippy pirates.
