Northern California Kaiser began at least two years ago to work on a project to expand the medical record number tracking system from seven digits to eight digits. Accomplishing this, of course, necessitated the same type of conversion of many applications that y2k compliance requires, so the honchos decided to begin y2k compliance concurrently with this effort.

I believe DDIM began working at Kaiser in 1993.

While on site, DDIM began to heavily customize a tool from Adpac called PM/SS to suite Y2K specific tasks... from whence grew System Vision 2000. PLAT bought the world wide marketing rights to System Vision 2000... but not the product or Adpac. Go figure.
