"However the cosmos is quiet ... "too quiet" to invoke the western-movie cliche."

I don't know about that. The whole earth was quiet when the horse was the only fast mode of travel and when oceans (if crossed accidentally)...yet remained a barrier to the communication of same.

In terms of space we are like a family who has never left the bedroom of a house with no doors or windows. Additional, we are like entities with the ability to travel one inch every 1000 years.

And we expect to know...what!? Everything (and EVERYBODY!) is light years away. And what percentage of the speed of light is our maximum travel speed?!

And what is out life span! And how long (really) have we been trying to move one inch? Relatively speaking, for perhaps a second!

OK. I admit it! I crafted this post for the sole purpose of forcing you to come up with a great pun! You carry a big black hat and a funny wand...you better have a rabbit!
