Haim, I can't second guess Bush, and now Obama and all their advisers and military intelligence, if Qaddafi is good enough for them. PanAm was terrible, but it was a response to the killing of Qaddafi's daughter and a lot of other civilian Libyans by Reagan, which in turn was retaliation for the killing of the two American soldiers in Germany. What would Reagan have done if Qaddafi killed his child? Blood feuds get irrational very quickly. See Israel/Palestinians. Again, I ask you: What do you know about the Libyan rebels? Didn't some of them name their area of control an Islamic caliphate -- quickly changed when the media started inquiring? How sure are we that we will not get Iran II?
