My family loves our streetcar. We can walk to it, and then ride to downtown. For various reasons it is so much more pleasant than the bus. Somehow it's cool, while the bus is exactly the opposite. My teenage kids love it. Actually, I'm not sure why its so much better than the bus but I'd rather walk than take the bus, depending on the weather. Northwest Portland.
