Hey Fixer/Walt/and all those talking about shorters. If this group of investors/shorters happen to be gay would you call it a "Fruit Loop." I think you guys are all seeing "reds" under your beds with all this talk about organized shorting. Someone or some institution took advantage of the volume to offload a rather large position. Smackton has been a heavy seller at these prices for the past 30 days. Today's inflated volume merely allowed whoever is selling from Smackton to accelerate the process.

Another alternative: Given the current problems in the junior market; whoever is selling Winspear big time at these low prices probably needs to raise money to cover a problem caused by a dramatic decline in another stock. I can think of one major play that has just had the stuffing knocked out of it - Donner et al in South Voisey's Bay.This selling of Winspear is the "knock on effect."
