A Most Solemn Message!
In the last book of the Bible, Revelation Chapter 14 verses 6-12, we see Three special Angels giving Mankind the most important warning message that they will ever hear. Men and women are solemnly warned to keep the Commandments of God and to have the Faith of Jesus. In addition, we are warned not to become involved with those in Spiritual "Babylon".
Satan's ultimate goal is to cause us to disregard the Three Angel's Messages and force us to "worship the Beast", spoken about in Revelation 13:3. What is Spirtual Babylon? Ever since his devious seduction of Eve in the Garden of Eden, Satan has tried to get people to really believe that they could become as "gods". This desire to become God himself is what caused Satan's fall. Thus, he knows just what to do to cause our downfall also.
The Ancient Babylonians practiced a Religion that revolved around the idea of becoming a god. They also built the Tower of Babel so as to attempt to bring the entire world into a unity against the God of Heaven- a "New World Order", so to speak. This Religion of Ancient Babylon has been kept alive by various groups all the way through history, and even to our modern times. Today it goes under the name of the New Age Movement, or the New World Order, and it is permeating our entire Society, including the Christian World.
The Religion of the Ancient Babylonians encouraged a rebellious spirit against the Law of God, a blatant disregard for His Commandments. Today the New Age Movement is spreading all over the world, and it involves again a hatred for both the Law of God and the Atonement of Christ. Is it any wonder then that the Three Angel's of Revelation are calling the whole World back to the keeping of the Commandments and the Faith of Jesus, and that a terrible warning message is given to those who refuse? |
