And many are coming up here to Alaska looking for work. It is a Grapes of Wrath type movement we are seeing. It is what I expected. Mostly still people who used to live here or have relatives here.

What has happened though, is rentals are sky high with very few rentals even left and housing prices rising through old highs and will rise another 10 to 25% this year alone, IMO.

And in winter things usually stand still, but as spring approaches, it looks like the a flood of people will be coming up this year.
