All part of 'evil' helicopter Ben's grand plan?

Funny I was just looking at some condo complexes I am familiar with going back to the early 80's. Here is one example of a 2/2 condo figures I had.

1985 value $55k rent $475 HOA dues $75
1990 value $35k rent $525 HOA dues $100
2000 value $70k rent $650 HOA dues $150
2005 value $225k rent $725 HOA dues $200
2011 value $45k rent $1000 HOA dues $350

RE taxes other than during the bubble when it was as high as $4k were in the ballpark of $1k a year
