Where is the price gouging in general?

Higher prices in response to a relative shortage is a feature not a bug. Having higher prices improves the overall well being of the people in such circumstances. Putting a limit on prices doesn't make the shortage go away, instead its prone to increase and perhaps prolong the shortage.

First of all, the reports coming out of Japan are that there is NO price gouging like what happens after a disaster in the US. In fact, vendors are lowering their prices to help people. What a concept..huh? Working together during a bad time and not screwing each other.

You wouldn't understand. If the capitalist credo isn't in force, then it must be a bad thing.

Tim, seriously, you need help. Your ideology is suffocating.
