Doug, I've been keeping an eye on the Transportation Index, I believe another intermediate slide without an upturn in the DOW Industrials would give confirmation that we are changing trend. If the DOW starts acting up again I'm sure we'll see an assortment of fire sales around. Arakis will probability be at the top of the list, not that they necessarily start in alphabetical order. On the other hand, with pipeline news right around the corner maybe the shakeout will not be so bad, or more likely short lived IMO.

<(Christians,Animists comprise 40% ofthe Sudan's population base now) don't know why, but assume that it's war-related.> The 1996 World Almanac reports 70% Sunni Muslim (in north), 20% indigenous beliefs and 5% Christian (mostly in south). Just a few weeks until the new issue is due, should be interesting to compare undated changes. Ed
