I was listening to an interesting discussion of what the attack on NPR is about. Big city NPR would be unaffected, their listener base and local sponsors can pay for them even without Fed funding.

What's at risk is the rural small town NPR stations. Rush, Clear Channel, Beck and Hannity are LOSING LISTENERS. Where are they going? NPR? Which has recently started longer range AM broadcasts?

The (R)'s are afraid that rural, Red State America might hear some truth!
