With the market green (Dow +161) on St Patrick's, I'll take it as an opportunity to make some changes.

Water stocks: CWT in red today; I'll take a few more shares. PICO green. Stock near 12-mo lows. Considering if I want to add more or not. Seems like a possible value trap.

Chinese stocks. Tired of red and or losses on the several I am holding. Reducing or eliminating positions in several: NEP, LPH. I've not done well with auto parts suppliers; Taking losses, I reduced WATG, BYDDF, eliminated AONE.

BYDDF not having a good quarter: "Buffett-Backed BYD’s Profit Plunges as Sales Slump" bloomberg.com

BYDDF one of the few times I've followed Mr. Buffett in and have not come out whole. Perhaps my lack of patience.

Airlines: Airlines I am following are down today. I'm in the green with ALGT; if it drops further though, I won't be. I cut back 85% of my position, will consider reentering if it drops below my lowest cost shares. I'm underwater in HA, I added more to that one today.

Oil stocks: AXAS reported earnings. Not a great report, but stock initially rose and then it dropped sharply. I added to my holdings @$4.52.

Controlling stockholder(s) of KWK, decided not to try to take the company private. This likely contributed to today's stock drop. I hold a tracking position (just a few shares), and I added a bit to it. I don't claim these as value stocks. I like the shale oil lands that these companies control, and I envision the possibility that these companies can do well, IF they can drill and IF they find commercial amounts of oil. AXAS-->Bakken,Niobrara, Pekisco. KWK-->Alberta Bakken, Niobrara.

Cut back on mlp BBEP. Received my k-1 and surprise to me, line V shows a relatively large positive amount. This stock is held in my IRA, and I don't want to go over $1k in UBTI in 2011. In which, in my understanding, line V amounts are a clue. Funds moved to HYI: finance.yahoo.com
