I think you called it someting like "Offshore 8-K filings". After you discovered that there was already another thread for similar purposes, I think you posted a message to that effect in your thread.

I think the "Shorting Stocks: Broken stocks" thread is probably the one, though. The important theme was the use of questionable/desperate financing that would really hurt shareholder value (e.g., convertible securities with a (discounted) variable conversion rate).
