Robert, FWIW, I think TI presented at a Prudential Conference in NYC on Wednesday, they made comments about DRAM weakness, and some of the people who can't seem to understand that TI is not a DRAM pure-play seem to have focused on that (and how weakness in memory chip prices and continuing overcapacity issues come as a real shocker to any professional analyst or MM attending that conference makes me want to ask - which planet did you just come back from? Or were you stowaways on the MIR or something?)

The TI website has a very informative presentation given by the VP of semiconductor ops. It's at:

ti.com.corp

Good info on applications for DSP's and insight into some issues re: Asia-Pacific Rim.

My jets were flying sorties on other targets yesterday, but I'm glad it traded up despite the CNBC report of Kurlak. Who knows where it goes in the future (I'm assuming COMDEX may give a lift to the techs - but could be wrong), but yesterday - Kurlak and his salesforce LOST the hill on TI.

This may come as a shock to some folks, but...better sit down for this one...the financial markets do not exist for the sole purpose of fueling Tom Kurlak's ego.

Good trading,

Tom
