re BRK, Buffett. What I don't understand about Buffett is that he does not make a foreign acquisition rather than buying and OK business like LZ for what seems like top $.

A few years ago, he seemed to have a focus on foreign acquisitions (Iscar) but for one reason or another, nothing seems to come to fruition. It seems strange to me that there are no public or private companies except in the US willing to sell out. Given the size of Berkshire, it would make sense to prowl further away from home but what do I know.
